Paul John Clark, Jason James Godefroy and Philip Francis Duffy of MCR were appointed Joint Administrators of the Company on 21 July 2008. The Joint Administrators are trading the business of the Company whilst a going concern sale of its business and assets is pursued.
Business Overview
• GTC is an established boutique store selling a diverse selection of high value products to include tabletop items, furniture, interior decorations, gifts, chinaware, glassware and other similar type products.
• GTC has the ability to provide a fully transactional website and wedding list offering. (The wedding list IT infrastructure was withdrawn prior to Administration, however, the facility is fully functional).
• Connected to the boutique store, the Company operates a 40 seat café for its customers. This also has the facility to host private functions.

• The Company trades from a well presented and decorated leasehold premises at Symons Street off Sloane Square in London. The premises is approximately 15,400 square feet.
Customers
• GTC’s principal customers are attracted from consumers who shop in the prestigious Kings Road and Sloane Square, London shopping areas, as well as high profile celebrities. The Company benefits from repeat business in addition to foot fall from customers attracted to Sloane Square for the “Peter Jones experience”;
High Level Financial Information
• Turnover for the year ended 30 April 2007 was approximately £3.2m and management accounts indicate turnover for the period ended 31 March 2008 was approximately £2.7m.

• The business retains a workforce of 32 employees.
